Hrithik-Aishwarya: "The perfect husband and wife"!

Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya Rai will play husband and wife in Ashutosh Gowariker's historical drama 'Akbar-Jodha'.

Ace director Ashutosh Gowariker says Hrithik-Aishwarya is the ideal pair for playing Akbar-Jodha. He said the script for the movie - set during the 16th century, and it would focus on how an arranged marriage between Emperor Akbar and his wife later blossomed into love.

Gowariker said he decided on Hrithik and Aishwarya since both fit the characters best. According to him, Roshan's physique and features exude the elegance needed for a prince's role, while Rai's character requires a blend of strength and beauty. When asked how Hrithik and Aishwarya will look as on-screen husband and wife, Gowariker said wait and see, it's going to be a a rocking one.
